Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

CareLuxe Solutions LLC provides non-medical home care in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the surrounding counties. This notice explains how we handle health-related information — what we collect, why, how we share it, and the choices you have. It adds to our Privacy Policy and applies to health-related information we collect through website inquiries and pre-service conversations that may fall outside of HIPAA.

What We Mean by Consumer Health Data

This can include information about a person's daily functioning and care needs, whether someone is a caregiver or a care recipient, interest in home care services, and the type of insurance coverage as it relates to care eligibility.

How We Use It

We use health-related information to understand care needs, communicate about care, check possible eligibility for Medicaid waiver programs, respond to inquiries, and improve the quality and safety of our services. We do not use it for advertising.

How We Share It

We share health-related information only with the caregivers and care coordinators involved in the care, government agencies when required, trusted service providers who are bound by confidentiality, with your consent, or when the law requires it. We do not sell it.

Your Rights

You may ask us to see the health-related information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some records must be kept where the law requires.

Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and post the updated version here.
